Teatro amatoriale: definizioni e scelte drammaturgiche

Abstract

This paper aims at evaluating in the first place the different terms used in order to define the individuals involved in non-professional theater practice, from the historical groups to the present national associations. Secondly making use of an empirical inquiry realized by the author in 2015 focusing on a sample of non-professional acting companies belonging to the area of Rome, a short summary of the purposes and of their main dramaturgical tendencies rovided with the submission by considering few case studies.
